Alaska Pump and Supply, established in 1978, is the largest pump distributor in Alaska. We have over 25 employees involved in sales and service of pumps for commercial, municipal and industrial applications. Experienced graduate mechanical engineers are on staff to assist contractors, engineers, and end-use customers in equipment selections, installation planning, layout, permitting, and project supervision.
We offer sales, service and support to our customers for all of the products we represent, as well as repairs and support of many others. Our efforts to proactively promote our field service availability and capabilities set us apart from other equipment sales companies. Our customers expect and deserve prompt reliable service for the products we provide. In 2013 we became part of the DXP family of companies. DXP is an industry leader in industrial distribution, service, and repair dating back to 1908.
Looking to the Future
Our company has and will continue to identify areas of added value for the benefit of our customers. We can package pump systems, simplifying field installation requirements. Engineers, contractors, and end users have favorably embraced this concept. We have in-house shop-fabricating facilities that provide these capabilities. Our field service personnel are capable of providing design input to ensure serviceable units, input which is not often available at the equipment manufacturer’s facilities.
Experience
We have provided over 20,000 pumps since 1978 with coverage over the entire state from Ketchikan to Barrow in thousands of wide ranging industrial applications. Through our years of effort to properly apply the equipment we sell, service it after we sell it, and to maintain and strengthen our relationships with our customers, we have gained invaluable experience in the industries we serve. We have many key employees that have been with our company for ten to twenty years or more. We also have attracted and retained many employees that have been in the industry for many years prior to joining our company. As we have grown our experienced employees have trained our new employees. We strive to be the most experienced company with the most capable personnel in the industry and in the area we serve.
